The Irish team connects to EY’s worldwide Studio+ network comprising 7,000 specialists.
Key facts
- Studio+ brings together more than 350 professionals in Ireland across multiple disciplines
- The service links to EY’s global Studio+ network of 7,000 professionals
- The launch took place at EY Ireland’s new Wilton Park offices
- Studio+ will concentrate on three core areas: customer experience, product and service innovation, and marketing and sales transformation
Bridging Strategy and Execution
According to EY Ireland, the initiative responds to mounting pressure on organisations to deliver growth and productivity whilst managing costs and risk. Many companies are attempting to advance artificial intelligence beyond isolated pilot projects into daily customer interactions and operations.
Cillian Leonowicz, partner and Customer & Growth Solution Suite lead at EY Ireland, explained that Studio+ focuses on practical implementation rather than strategy alone. “Many organisations are experimenting with AI, but too many pilots never make it into everyday use to deliver quantifiable benefits for customers and the underpinning operations teams,” he said. “Getting real value means getting the fundamentals right, starting with data, and measuring the return of the initiatives and interventions.”
Leonowicz highlighted the entrepreneurial approach derived from EY’s involvement with the Entrepreneur of the Year programme, stating that the firm brings a mindset of not just advising on problems but actively implementing solutions to help clients transform ambitions into valued products and services.
Three Focus Areas for Transformation
Studio+ will concentrate its efforts on customer experience, product and service innovation, and marketing, sales and service transformation. The team’s scope extends from growth strategy and customer insight through to technology delivery and the commercial capabilities required to launch and scale new propositions.
Richard Hepworth, EY Ireland consulting partner for Studio+, emphasised that successful transformation begins with people rather than technology. “Technology is a powerful enabler, but on its own it is not enough. Lasting value comes from combining it with a real understanding of what customers and employees need, strong design, good use of data and effective delivery,” he noted.
Siofra Moriarty, EY Ireland business consulting partner, said organisations across all sectors are working to deliver improved products and experiences to customers more rapidly. “EY Studio+ enables exactly that, using AI-enabled solutions to accelerate the full transformation lifecycle, from understanding customer needs and rapidly designing and prototyping solutions through to build and delivery at scale, while ensuring this all takes place within a governed and controlled environment,” Moriarty added.
The service will undertake work including redesigning customer journeys, employing data and artificial intelligence to personalise interactions, and improving commercial effectiveness and service efficiency across client organisations.
